About me
With over 36 years in education, David Kibelkis has served as a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and Principal, including 16 years leading schools as a principal. In recent years, he has embraced what he calls his “rewirement”—continuing his mission as an SEL Hub Coach (South Cook) and New Principal Mentor (IPA), while also working with Chick-fil-A as a Leadership Coach and Brand Builder.
David’s passion centers on building a positive school climate and culture where staff and students can thrive and become their best selves. His work focuses on supporting schools in classroom management (CHAMPS), attendance, safety, SEL integration, and overall culture-building. He is deeply committed to equipping educators and leaders with the tools to create thriving, student-centered learning environments.A lifelong learner, David believes that in education and leadership we are always learning, always growing, and always becoming the best version of ourselves.
