You Got Me Twisted: Reclaiming Your Respect in the Classroom

As a result of attending this presentation participantas will be able to:
1. Identify common root causes of student disrespect and disruptive behavior through a culturally responsive lens.
2. Apply proactive strategies to set clear boundaries and expectations without damaging relationships.
3. Demonstrate effective de-escalation techniques that maintain authority while preserving student dignity.
4.Practice real-world responses to common classroom disrespect scenarios using role-play and reflective discussion.
