Leading for Well-Being: Sustaining Yourself and Your School in Challenging Times
Monday November 2, 2026 11:10am - 12:00pm CST
School leadership is demanding—often leaving little space for leaders to care for themselves while caring for others. Yet the well-being of a school community is directly shaped by the well-being of its leaders. In this interactive session, Narineh Gharashor draws on her experience as a principal, coach, and researcher to explore healing-centered leadership practices that sustain both leaders and their schools. Participants will engage in reflective exercises, learn practical wellness strategies that can be integrated into the workday, and discover how modeling well-being fosters stronger culture, trust, and resilience across teams.

The Four Agreements in Action: Building Trust and Culture in Schools
Monday November 2, 2026 12:10pm - 1:00pm CST
School culture is built on trust, clarity, and consistent leadership practices. In this interactive session, Narineh Gharashor and Michael Fry introduce The Four Agreements—a framework popularized by Don Miguel Ruiz—as a powerful lens for leadership and collaboration in schools. Drawing from their combined expertise in leadership coaching, healing-centered engagement, and narrative practice, they guide participants through reflective exercises, practical applications, and real-world scenarios that bring the agreements to life in school settings. Educators and leaders will leave with actionable strategies to strengthen relationships, reduce conflict, and foster resilience across their communities.
The Four Agreements explored in this session:
  1. Be impeccable with your word – using communication to build clarity and trust.

  2. Don’t take anything personally – maintaining balance when challenges arise.

  3. Don’t make assumptions – leading with inquiry and transparency.

  4. Always do your best – modeling resilience and growth for staff and students.
