South Cook Area Wide Institute Day 2026
Monday November 2, 2026 10:10am - 11:00am CST
Psychological safety is the foundation of effective school teams — when people feel safe to speak up, share ideas, admit mistakes, and challenge thinking without fear. In this interactive, talk-show style forum, participants will explore Amy Edmondson’s definition of psychological safety and connect it to Patrick Lencioni’s 5 Dysfunctions of a Team framework.

Participants will leave with the following:

A clear understanding of psychological safety and its connection to team effectiveness.
Practical leadership strategies to strengthen trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.
Hands-on experience with tools that can be replicated in schools.
A personal leadership pledge to apply within the next 30 days.
