South Cook Area Wide Institute Day 2026
Monday November 2, 2026 11:10am - 12:00pm CST
The South Cook Student Advocacy Program is designed to provide students with the tools, support, and relationships they need to thrive. In this workshop, participants will learn what the South Cook Advocacy Program is, why it is one of the best supports for kids, and how it can positively impact students who are struggling with academics, attendance, social-emotional needs, or behavior.
Through the lens of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), participants will see how the Advocacy Program and ALOP model provide an added layer of support to help students stay engaged and successful in the school setting and beyond. In this session, you will also hear directly from building-level administrators and advocates about how this program has become an effective model of student support in South Cook schools.
